Description
Collective stories shared by S-Ateen members offer hope to young people who have been affected by the sexual behavior of a relative or friend. S-Ateen members share on common problems including:
-Covering up their feelings.
-Not asking for help.
-Trying to escape their own problems with compulsive behavior,
-Worrying that they may be the cause of the sexaholic’s behavior.
Further, S-Ateen members share the benefits they have received from attending S-Ateen meetings such as understanding the impact of growing up in a sexaholic home, feeling relief and peace of mind, learning to have healthy conversations and resolve disagreements, and more.
