This booklet discusses helpful information about the S-Anon meeting guideline of “sharing about and from the S-Anon point of view” and the importance of maintaining a focus on S-Anon principles to preserve the integrity of our program. Helpful for both newcomers and more experienced members, we come to see that our guidelines are not rules but are instead principles that help us collectively preserve the S-Anon program and provide safety for all S-Anon members.

The S-Anon point of view focuses on the solution to our common problems. We keep the focus on ourselves and our own recovery and aim to provide a safe place free from the influence of outside opinions and advice for all who seek to recover from the effects of someone else’s sex addiction.

This 24-page booklet reviews the various aspects of speaking about and from the S-Anon point of view, provides a checklist for handy reference, and contains member stories to provide context for the various themes presented.
