Description

Couples share their experience, strength, and hope on the topics of communication, trust, forgiveness, honesty, commitment, and healthy sexuality.

A great deal of commitment is required within a relationship if the problems caused by sex addiction and the family’s reactions to it are to be overcome.  However, experience has shown that we can overcome our initial fears, and many of us are happier in our relationships than we ever imagined possible, achieving levels of intimacy we only hoped for previously.  This booklet covers a variety of topics such as:

-Isn’t it irrational to trust a person who has proven untrustworthy?

-How can we communicate honestly with each other when we haven’t for so long?

-Can our sexual relationship ever be a joyful and fulfilling expression our commitment to one another?

-We thought we were committed, but how long should we wait for real change to occur?

We have addressed these questions and others by asking those who have attended open couples’ meetings to share their experience, strength and hope on how recovery through the S-Anon program has worked for them.
