We have exciting news to share! As part of our ongoing effort to support groups in carrying the message and to help newcomers find S-Anon more easily, the World Service Office is now offering free digital access to one of our most essential pieces of Conference Approved Literature for newcomers, We’re Glad You’re Here … Helpful Information for the Newcomer.
This is the same Newcomers Booklet many of us have relied on for years. What’s new is how it can be accessed. The Newcomers Booklet is now downloadable at www.sanon.org in both English and Spanish.
This change makes it easier to get helpful information into the hands of those who are seeking support—right when they need it. Groups and members can now distribute the booklet in the following ways:
-Share a direct link with newcomers.
-Email a downloaded copy.
-Add the link to group websites.
-Print and offer it as a free handout.
Inquirers who have not yet connected with a group will be able to access the booklet directly through the website, allowing them to engage with the program at their own pace. We believe expanding access to this foundational piece of literature will make it easier for people to more quickly connect with S-Anon.
This is one way we are continuing to support our primary purpose: reaching out to those who are still suffering from the effects of another’s sexual behavior.
Printed copies will remain available for purchase through the online Literature Store for those who prefer a professionally produced handout.
