We are pleased to announce the launch of a new resource on the S-Anon website designed to educate young people ages 12–19 and their parents about S-Ateen, and to attract members interested in serving as S-Ateen group sponsors. The Teen Corner gathers all S-Ateen information in one place, making it easier for newcomers to learn about the program, for parents to find useful answers, and for volunteers to explore service opportunities.
The Teen Corner includes a free digital S-Ateen Welcome Packet for interested teens and parents. The packet features a letter to parents explaining the purpose and structure of the S-Ateen program, along with information to help families feel more confident in how S-Ateen supports young people affected by the family disease of sex addiction.
This new section organizes existing S-Ateen materials and introduces several features to improve clarity and accessibility. Our goal was to make the path to S-Ateen straightforward and welcoming to teens seeking connection, for parents seeking understanding, and for members considering service. By presenting information in a more intuitive and approachable way, we hope to increase awareness of the S-Ateen program and reach those who need it most.
The Teen Corner is integrated into the main S-Anon website so members can move between resources without interruption.
We are grateful to the members who contributed their time, experience, and feedback throughout this project. We hope this new resource offers meaningful support to families as young people seek recovery in S-Ateen.
