In just a few short months (four, to be exact), the current Treasurer will have served the full term of service provided by our Bylaws and will be rotating out of the position. We need a replacement.
If you have financial acumen and a desire to give back to the fellowship, please consider serving in this important position. Ideal candidates will have financial experience and have worked a Twelve Step pro-gram of recovery for at least five years. A strong grounding in the Twelve Traditions and Concepts of Service is highly desirable.
The Treasurer participates in their role as a member of the Board in three virtual meetings each month: the Board of Trustees meeting on the first Tuesday evening of the month, the Executive Committee meeting on the third Thursday afternoon of the month*, and the Finance Committee meeting on the third Monday evening of each month*.
Please spread the word about this vital service need. Anyone interested in applying for or learning more about this role is encouraged to join the Finance Committee for a few months to get a better idea what the Treasurer role involves and to see how the position is supported by members of the Finance Committee.
