Members who serve on the Literature Committee generally find personal recovery is greatly enriched by this service. The Literature Committee (LC) would like to make S-Anon members aware of some service opportunities.
The LC is looking for volunteers with the time and inclination to assist in the following ways:
- Transcription of written submitted member shares into Word documents – requires Microsoft Word and typing skills.
- Review of our S-Anon Conference Approved Literature to catalog quotes used – this would require Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills and Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word document search skills.
- French translators or translation reviewers – this would require written French fluency and translation and editing skills, as well as familiarity with the recovery concepts expressed in the literature being translated.
- Readers – a couple more Readers are welcome to provide constructive input to new literature in development.
