S-Anon International Family Groups
S-Ateen is a fellowship of young people whose lives have been affected by the sexual behavior of a family member or friend. Their meetings follow S-Anon's Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. S-Ateen meetings are conducted separately from those of S-Anon, and are guided by adult S-Anon sponsors. For more information about how S-Ateen meetings are run, see the pamphlet, "S-Ateen Information about Sponsorship and Meetings", which is available as a free download from the SIFG Online Store.
Please contact the World Service Office to find out whether there is an S-Ateen meeting in your area.
Every S-Ateen group needs an active, adult member of S-Anon to serve as a sponsor. If you have been attending S-Anon meetings regularly for at least one year, are working the Twelve Steps with a sponsor, and are willing to share your experience, S-Ateen sponsorship may be for you! You can read more about S-Ateen sponsorship in the pamphlet, "S-Ateen Information about Sponsorship and Meetings", which is available as a free download from the SIFG Online Store.
If you are interested in serving as a sponsor, please contact the World Service Office.
